How do matches work?
Each job gets a score from 0 to 100 based on your search profile: how well the title matches your target titles, how many of your required and nice-to-have keywords appear, whether the location or remote setup fits, and whether salary, seniority, recency, and your company watchlist line up. Any excluded keyword rules a job out. Every match shows which keywords it hit and missed, so you can see exactly why it scored the way it did.
How do I get alerts?
Allow notifications when FHJobSearch asks (or turn them on later in iOS Settings > Notifications > FHJobSearch). Then, in each search profile, choose a match-score threshold and a delivery mode: instant, digest, or off. You can also set quiet hours so alerts wait until morning. Only matches at or above your threshold trigger an alert.
Why don’t I have any matches yet?
Job boards are scanned on a schedule, so a brand-new profile can take a little while to fill in. If it stays empty, your profile may be too narrow. Try adding more title variations, moving some required keywords to nice-to-have, removing excluded keywords you do not need, widening locations or choosing “any” for remote preference, or lowering the score threshold. Also check that the profile is active and not paused.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account > Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all of its data, including search profiles, saved jobs, tracker notes, and alert history, right away. It cannot be undone. You can also email [email protected] from your account’s email address and we will delete it for you.
How do I sign out?
Go to Account > Sign out. Your data stays safe in your account, and you can sign back in at any time with the same Sign in with Apple or email account.
